1. ROLE:
Depaul is a values-led organisation working with a number of services
throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. In this role,
the post holder will be responsible for organisational projects that
benefit multiple services and departments
2. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
NATIONAL QUALITY STANDARDS FRAMEWORK:
* Support the implementation of NQSF in Services and Departments
* Development of Audit and Auditor Group
* Carrying out audits
* Development of overall reports inc corrective actions from Audits
* Development of training material as identified by audits
SERVICE CHARGE:
* Mapping and oversight of Service Charge Management in Services.
* Developing consistency of approach across Services
* Monitoring and reporting slippages
* Administrative support to Regional Services in developing robust
SC processes and practices
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
* Development of Audits for H&S and Fire Safety in line with changes
in legislation and best practice.
* Support with H&S Compliance Reporting
PROCUREMENT:
* Development of Preferred Contractors/Agreed Suppliers and reviewing
annually
* Liaison with Finance Dept to agree procurement processes for
services and departments
SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS:
* Support with management of all requirements of SLA agreements with
funders.
* Developing system to ensure legislative requirements of SLA are
clear and system in place to confirm compliance
THE ABOVE LIST IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE; ADDITIONAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
MAY BE ADDED OVER TIME AND FLEXIBILITY TO COVER FOR OTHER STAFF ROLES
IS REQUIRED FROM TIME TO TIME.
3. PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
* Knowledge/Understanding of the work of Homeless Services
* Experience/Knowledge of Quality Standards in particular NQSF
* Experience of planning and carrying out audits
* Experience of writing reports and action plans
* Skilled at creating content for and/or delivering training
* Experience/Understanding of implementing policy and practice to
ensure consistency of approach
* Experience/Knowledge of H&S Standards and Legislation
* Experience of liaising with Contractors/Suppliers and negotiation
of contracts
* Good understanding of the role of Quality and Compliance and its
benefits to an organisation.
